AIA has had many CEOs since it was incepted in the late 19th century. Robert Ivy serves as the organization’s current CEO. He is an architect by training, with a degree to that effect from Tulane University. Having graduated in 1976, Robert spent about three decades working as an architectural journalist and editor. He took up his current job in 2011.
